ahhh... juz haf to admit my jap really super cant make it...
today went to bring jap student around... but totally ahh... full of trouble for me...
1)
lst time bring student in b&s.. tot is like whole group go together n helpout... so went unprepared...
in the end is a group of students assign to each tour guide (which is me) n supposed to bring them around by ourselves... n im prepared wif nth....
2)
gt assigned a group of 6 jap guys in my groups... which according to the more experienced tour guides, getting assigned wif gals is better... yup, im assigned with guys nt gals...
3)
well... concerning my super lousy until cannot lousy jap, how to communicate wif them??
since i, the tour guide, is the only non-jap in the group...
4)
bringing jap students around singapore.... wait... my 路痴-ness everyone shld noe...
5)
n though being a singaporean, n stuck in tis place for 20 yrs... i noe nth much abt other places singapore except my home... n now im bring them around...
well.... when heard abt bring them alone, i was like... 'how will i die in the next 7hrs???'
b4 bring the students around, the jap tcher were doing sum briefing wif the students telling them to tell us the 5 places they wanna go..
n i dunno am i lucky or not... the group of guys im assigned wif didnt plan on whr they wanna go n ask me for recommendation..
which i tink is gd... coz if they wanna go places like little india... i can go bang onto wall le... since nv in my life haf i went them b4 n god noes how it look like...
so since they ask me for recommendation, i brought them to bugis... shld b one of my most frequent-visited place bah...
den bring them around n all...
after tt nid bring them to another place... n they asked me for suggestion...
was tinking of the river n jap den tot of clarke quay... actually gg to go there, but one of them suddenly ask abt whr haf guitar...
so my 1st tot is yamaha n tot of ps...
n for tis, i really wanna thx all those fren tt haf stroll wif me in ps b4.. so tt i didnt disappoint them...
so went ps... which is again, a gd thing.. coz was wondering if i can find the way out after i gt out of mrt... (mayb i can lah... but after few rounds of walking here n there to find the place)...
in the end, spent time at ps in yamaha guitar shop, arcade.... n otaku hse...
ok... the guys mayb a little otaku-ish... since they went kino den comic connection bcoz of manga n all.. so yup, suddenly otaku hse came to my mind... hahaha...
anyway... they r really quite nice...
coz i haf been keeping quite quiet throughout the whole tour... due to my super lousy jap...
n one of them like still try tok to me.. den in the end i kept reply wif one sentence answer (wat's wrong wif me!!! -_-)...
den in the end they still thx me n all...
omg... i feel so bad lah... didnt do much... didnt prepare anything in advance... didnt bring them to lots of places due to my 路痴-ness...
if in turn, i gt tis type of tour guide like me, i will sure attitude frm start to end n complain n dun gif face at all de...
ok... after exam i shall 好好搞清楚 the place in singapore so tt next time (maybe) will be better in bringing jap students... n most imptly my jap!! study so many yrs still liddat -_-
